The first place on my list is Zhangye National Geopark, China. Zhangye National Geopark is located in the Gansu province in North central China. Zhangye National Geopark is known for its "Rainbow Mountains". Its vibrant colors are the result of red sandstone and mineral deposits that have been being laid down for 24 million years. I first saw this beautiful mountain range in travel blog a few years ago and since that was part of my inspiration I chose to do this as my first blog. I recently rediscovered this beautiful place in an instagram post by one of my friends, and decided that this would be a beautiful place to share.
